Our Chair, Alan Main, delivered a keynote speech at the OTCToolbox 2020 Consumer Healthcare BD&I Event in London, where he spoke about the need to meet the growing demand for self-care. Individuals no longer want to be passive consumers of their health, but are demanding increased transparency, convenience, access, and personalized products and services.
The two-day event brought together key players from the consumer healthcare and over-the-counter sectors. Alan discussed the efforts the Federation is taking to create a healthier world through better self-care.
He outlined GSCF’s three-year strategy, which aims to build trust in the industry, demonstrate the value of self-care in sustainable healthcare systems, and create networks for improved health data sharing opportunities.
