Executive Committee

The Executive Committee oversees all operational aspects of the organization, including the implementation of the Federation’s strategy and membership issues, providing advice and vetting items before they are considered by the Board Members for final decision making. The Executive Committee is elected from the Board representing both company and associations.

There are two sub-committees of the Executive Committee - the Finance and Personnel CommitteesThe Finance Committee assists the Board with the organization's accounting, financial reporting, and financial compliance practices. 

The Personnel Committee oversees all aspects of human resource management for the federation, in compliance with local labor law. Members of these committees are appointed by the Executive Committee from the membership.

Regulatory Affairs Committee

The GSCF Regulatory Affairs Committee leads strategic engagement with regulators to support science-based, proportionate frameworks for OTC products, regulatory convergence, and innovation in self-care access. 

Policy Committee

Policy Committee

The GSCF Policy Committee supports having self-care recognized as a key pillar to advance UHC and disease prevention, while engaging with global actors such as the WHO and OECD. This work aims to advance the self-care agenda in key global health policy forums, such as the World Health Assembly, the UN High-Level Meetings and beyond, ensuring self-care is embedded in relevant public health initiatives, global partnerships, and communications campaigns at the global level.

The GSCF Environment Sustainability Committee collaborates across the industry to reduce the environmental footprint of self-care products by addressing packaging, plastic pollution, and sustainable product life cycles.
