22–24 October, 2019: GSCF Asia Pacific Regional Conference

Held in conjunction with the 4th APSMI General Assembly, the 12th edition of the GSCF Asia Pacific Regional Conference gathered over 300 international and Chinese delegates– providing a unique opportunity to engage with market, policy and regulatory developments in the Chinese domestic market and also at a global level.

The two-day conference program addressed a broad range of topics including Trends & policies in self-medication, Market dynamics in self-medication, and looking and future trends and opportunities - Self-Care the Next Generation from a broad array of speakers.

Delegates included Mr. Chen Shifei, Deputy Commissioner, National Medical Products Administration of China;  Dr Margaret Chan, Director-General Emeritus of the WHO; Chairman, Global Health Forum of Boao Forum for Asia;Qun’an Mao – Director General of Planning and Information, National Health Commission, and Mr. Zhu Haidong – Director of International Cooperation, National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. 

Global Self-Care Federation members actively contributed to the conference program, with notable representation from former Chairman, Brian McNamara, and Director General Judy Stenmark.
