The UHC2030 Private Sector Constituency, launched a statement during the 146th session of the WHO Executive Board meeting, emphasizing the need for public-private partnerships.  
 
The new statement welcomes the adoption of the Political Declaration on UHC and its call to address healthcare in a holistic manner and elevate UHC discussions beyond ministries of health. It makes a call for governments and other stakeholders to create an enabling environment for effective and structured private sector engagement, to accelerate progress to universal health coverage.
